What
This 3-day course gives individuals an understanding of the EMS audit process and equips them with basic skills to conduct internal EMS audits and the knowledge of how audits should be applied to their own organisation's EMS. The programme includes a practical audit in which the delegate can put into practice the theory of auditing and present findings to a live audience.

Why
On successful completion, delegates will be considered as trainee environmental auditors and be able to participate in audits. They will have basic knowledge of:

• Environmental legislation
  
• Environmental Management Systems
  
• Auditing and consultancy skills

All delegates who have successfully completed this IEMA approved course will gain credit towards Environmental Auditor Registration on the IEMA Environmental Auditor Register.
